FluxNote Billing FAQ: No Hidden Fees, No Watermarks, and 3-Minute Refunds

Most AI video platforms hide their true cost behind watermarks, restrictive credits, or complex per-second pricing. FluxNote's pricing is built for creators who need predictable monthly output.

Every plan, including the free tier, delivers a clear number of video generations per month with no hidden per-second fees. For example, the Rise plan at $7.99/mo (paid annually) gives you 21 videos.

That's a fixed cost of about $0.38 per video. Compare that to services that charge per second of generated footage, where a single 30-second clip can cost $5-$15.

Our model is simple: you know exactly how many videos you can create each billing cycle. There's no surprise 'overage' charge because you can't exceed your monthly allowance; the system stops you.

This prevents accidental bills of hundreds of dollars, a common complaint with metered platforms. All 11 AI video models, from Sora 2 Pro to Veo 3.1, are available within your plan's video count—there's no premium upcharge for accessing the latest model.

The same applies to our 19 AI image models and 350+ ElevenLabs voices. Your subscription is a flat-rate pass to the entire suite.

We also publish our India-specific pricing directly: Rise is ₹999/mo and Pro is ₹1699/mo, which is approximately three times cheaper than the equivalent US dollar plans, with full UPI acceptance. This regional fairness is a core part of our billing philosophy.

Your video and image credits reset on your monthly renewal date. Unused credits do not roll over.

This is a deliberate design choice to keep our infrastructure costs predictable, which allows us to offer higher monthly volumes at lower prices. If you're on the Free plan, you get 1 video and 100 image credits refreshed on the same calendar date each month.

For paid plans, the reset happens on your specific billing anniversary. The system does not auto-generate videos to 'use up' your credits.

We recommend planning your creation schedule towards the end of your cycle. If you realize you'll need more videos before your reset, you can upgrade your plan at any time.

The upgrade is prorated; you'll pay only for the remaining days in your billing cycle at the new plan's rate, and your new, higher video limit is available immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you maintain full access to your current plan's features until that date.

There is no penalty for changing plans. This system ensures you only pay for the tier you need each month, and can scale up for busy periods without being locked into a higher annual contract.

You're not just buying video generations; you're trusting a platform with your prompts, voice clones, and potentially proprietary concepts. FluxNote's stance is simple: your input prompts and generated outputs are yours.

We do not use your content to train our or any third-party AI models. Your project data is stored securely and is accessible only to you within your account.

For voice cloning, your uploaded audio samples are processed to create a voice model, then the original samples are deleted from our servers after 72 hours. The cloned voice profile remains in your account and is not used for any other purpose.

Regarding refunds, our policy is straightforward. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, contact support within your current billing period.

We issue a full refund for any unused portion of that period, typically processed back to your original payment method within 3 minutes for card payments. For annual subscriptions, you can request a refund within the first 30 days for a full repayment of the annual fee.

After 30 days, annual plan refunds are prorated based on the unused months. We don't believe in holding your money hostage.

This refund speed and transparency is a direct reflection of our confidence in the product. If you're testing FluxNote against a competitor, this policy allows you to take a real, paid-plan test drive with minimal financial risk.

Here’s exactly what happens, step-by-step, when you manage your FluxNote subscription. 1. Upgrading: Log into your FluxNote dashboard. Click your profile icon and select 'Billing.' You'll see your current plan and an 'Upgrade Plan' button.

Selecting a higher plan (e.g., from Free to Rise) triggers a prorated charge. For example, if you have 15 days left in your monthly cycle, you'll be charged approximately half of the Rise plan's monthly fee ($7.99/2 = ~$4.00) for immediate access.

Your new 21-video limit is active instantly. The system calculates this automatically—no need for support.

Total time: ~45 seconds. 2. Downgrading: In the same 'Billing' section, select 'Change Plan' and choose a lower tier (e.g., Pro to Rise). A confirmation screen will state: 'Your downgrade to Rise will take effect on [Next Billing Date].

You will retain 50 videos/month until then.' You confirm. There is no immediate change or refund; you simply continue using your current plan's features until the cycle ends.

Total time: ~30 seconds. 3. Canceling a paid plan: In 'Billing,' click 'Cancel Subscription.' You are shown two options: 'Cancel at period end' (recommended) or 'Cancel and refund now.' Selecting 'Cancel at period end' lets you finish your paid month. Selecting 'Cancel and refund now' immediately revokes plan access and initiates the 3-minute refund process for your remaining time.

Your account reverts to the Free plan (1 video/month) instantly. You do not need to 'talk to retention' or navigate multiple screens.

Total time: ~20 seconds. All actions are self-serve, with clear confirmations, because we believe you should control your subscription without friction.

The biggest billing differentiator isn't the listed price—it's what happens after you click 'generate.' Many platforms advertise a low entry price but then meter usage by video seconds, charge extra for premium AI models, or slap a mandatory watermark on lower plans.

FluxNote eliminates all three. 1. No per-second metering: Your Rise plan's 21 videos can each be up to the maximum duration allowed by the AI model (often 60-90 seconds).

Generating a 90-second video costs one credit, same as a 10-second one.

Competitors charging $0.15/second would bill $13.50 for that 90-second clip—more than our entire monthly Rise plan. 2. No model upcharges: You get Sora 2 Pro, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0—all 11 video models—on every paid plan.

What happens when the AI generates a corrupted video, or you lose access to your account? Our systems are designed to handle these fairly. Failed Generations: If a video generation fails due to a system error (e.g., 'Generation Failed' message), the video credit is automatically returned to your balance.

You can retry immediately.

If the failure was due to a content policy violation (our system blocks certain unsafe prompts), the credit is not refunded, as the AI processing workload was still consumed.

We provide a clear reason for policy rejections. Account Access: If you lose access to your login email, our support can verify your identity via a secondary email or purchase receipt and restore access typically within an hour.

We do not delete projects or data due to billing lapses.

If you downgrade to Free, your past projects remain viewable and downloadable, but you cannot generate new videos from them until you upgrade again. Billing Disputes: If you see an unexpected charge, contact us first before disputing with your bank.

We resolve nearly all issues immediately and will issue a refund if it was our error.

A direct bank chargeback bypasses our system and automatically suspends your account as per our payment processor's terms.

We prefer a direct conversation—it's faster for you and keeps your account in good standing.

For subscription hijacking (where someone upgrades your account without permission), we work with you and the payment provider to reverse the charges and secure your account, often within the same business day.

Our goal is to resolve issues, not create bureaucratic hurdles.

FluxNote is built for creators, marketers, and businesses who need high-volume, high-quality AI video generation across multiple models with full commercial rights.

There is essentially one scenario where we'd recommend a different tool: if you require a photorealistic human AI avatar (a 'digital human') to speak directly to camera in every single video.

While FluxNote excels at faceless videos, UGC-style ads, animated captions, and scene-based storytelling, we do not currently offer a built-in AI avatar presenter.

For that specific need, a tool like HeyGen or Synthesia is purpose-built.
