FluxNote Credits Explained: How Video & Image Costs Work (No Surprises)

FluxNote's credit system is intentionally simple to eliminate confusion. One video credit is consumed when you generate one video, regardless of its length (up to the model's maximum, like 60 seconds for Veo 3.1).

One image credit is consumed when you generate one image, regardless of resolution or model used (be it FLUX 2 Pro or GPT Image 2). There are no fractional credits for shorter videos or lower-res images.

This transparency means you always know exactly what you're getting: if your Rise plan has 21 video credits, you can make 21 videos that month. This differs from platforms that use 'compute seconds' or 'token pools,' which can make costs unpredictable.

For creators, predictability is key for budgeting and planning content calendars. You'll never submit a prompt and wonder if it will consume half your monthly allowance; it's one and done.

This also makes it easy to track your usage directly in your dashboard, where you see a clear countdown of remaining credits for the month, resetting on your billing date.

Many platforms advertise 'unlimited' generations, which often translates to throttled quality, extreme wait times, or hidden restrictions on model access. FluxNote uses a credit system to guarantee you get direct, unthrottled access to top-tier models like Sora 2 Pro and Veo 3.1.

When you use a credit, you're queued for a dedicated generation slot on our infrastructure. This means consistent speed and quality.

On the free plan, your 1 video credit gets you the same model access and priority as a paid user. On the Max plan, your 150 credits come with a priority queue, further reducing wait times.

This credit-based, per-asset model is fairer because you pay for what you actually produce. An 'unlimited' plan user generating 300 videos a month is effectively subsidized by the user who generates 5, creating an unsustainable system that leads to degraded service for everyone.

Our credits ensure the platform's resources are scaled to match the promised output, maintaining quality for all users. It's a sustainable model that prioritizes output quality over marketing buzzwords.

Understanding the value of a credit requires looking at the cost per asset on each plan. On the Free plan, your cost per video is effectively $0, and your cost per image is $0.

On the Rise plan ($7.99/month annually), you get 21 videos and 1,000 images. That breaks down to roughly $0.38 per video and $0.008 per image.

The Pro plan ($15/month annually for 50 videos, 2,100 images) brings the cost down to $0.30 per video and $0.007 per image. The Max plan ($30/month annually for 150 videos, 5,000 images) offers the lowest effective rates: $0.20 per video and $0.006 per image.

These costs are for generations using any of our 11 video or 19 image models. There is no upcharge for using a more advanced model like Kling 3.0 over Runway Gen-4.

This flat-rate per asset is a major advantage. On other platforms, using a 'premium' model can cost 2-5x more per generation, forcing you to make budget decisions that compromise your creative vision.

A crucial part of the credit system is knowing what operations are free, as this significantly impacts your effective workflow cost. On FluxNote, the following actions do not consume any credits: Editing a generated video (trimming, cutting, rearranging clips).

Adding animated captions in any of the 8+ styles (karaoke, kinetic, etc.). Adding or swapping from our library of 350+ ElevenLabs voices or 13 OpenAI voices.

Using Studio templates (news, Reddit, faceless, etc.) to structure your prompt. Uploading and using your own media (images, audio) in a project.

Rendering and downloading your final video. This means your credits are spent solely on the core AI generation—the computationally intensive part.

You can take a single generated video and iterate on it endlessly with new voiceovers, captions, and edits without spending another credit. This empowers a refinement-heavy workflow.

For example, you can generate one video (1 credit), then create 5 different versions of it for different social platforms with unique captions and voiceovers, all for that same initial credit. This makes your credit allocation go much further than a simple count might suggest.

Your credits refresh in full on your monthly billing date. Unused credits do not roll over.

This model encourages you to align your plan with your actual output, ensuring you always have the capacity you need.
