Notable

VEED's free plan is genuinely functional for basic editing and short videos. The watermark is the primary limitation rather than feature restrictions, making it more useful as a free tier than many competitors. The jump to Basic ($12/month annual) specifically targets creators who want watermark-free, clean exports for professional publishing.

Auto-subtitles

are VEED's most-used feature — the AI transcription and caption generation is fast and accurate across 100+ languages. The subtitle editor allows style customization and timing adjustment.
